“I drew these flowers every day, from when I brought them home to when they dropped their last petals. As I watched them change a little bit each day, I thought about the concept of change. How change can be difficult, but also really beautiful. When these flowers open up to their fullest, take their last bow, and eventually wilt, they spread their seeds and eventually create new life. I hope these drawings cause you to find beauty in the change, that in the passing of one thing to the next, you might find little seeds of hopefulness and growth.”
